“Hey, bird nerd!”
I have been bird watching and learning about birds since I can remember. From bird banding at my local nature center ,to researching avian cognition, to simply finding places to bird wherever I go, these creatures have a special place in my heart.

"What's for dinner?"
I love cooking; I learned from my father growing up and believe food is a uniquely pure way to bring people together, traversing many barriers, including language, culture, and age. My favorite dishes to cook are seared salmon with soy maple butter and orange glazed duck legs over wild rice.

“Where are you from?”
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. In 2015 I moved to Boston for college at Tufts University where I received my B.S in biopsychology and minors in studio art and STS. I spent 2 years in NYC post graduation as a psychology lab manager and then moved to Seattle in 2021 for my master’s in Human Centered Design & Engineering at UW Seattle!
